As little kids our imaginations were wild and crazy. We wished for a lot of things and had a lot of energy.
When all is crumbling, when most of the world is against you what do you do? Is there a point where you give up or do you fight for what is right or what you believe in?
With the holidays coming and one that just passed, we begin to remember all the family traditions we have ever had. Those traditions are usually carried on to your family as the years go by.
This year has started off as a struggle for the Decatur Christian girls’ Basketball team. Having only 8 girls able to play in the whole season has been a struggle but we are ready to take on the challenge.
On November 11, Decatur Christian School had their annual Auction-Banquet. This year the theme was based around Veterans Day. Decatur Christian School felt a strong calling to donate money to a charity in need who gives up their time for our freedom.
Friday November 11 as we know was Veterans’ Day. Decatur Christian School had an assembly to honor those who serve and have served our country.
Last Friday night, November 11 the Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball teams went to the University of Illinois in Champaign to cheer on the Fighting Illini women’s volleyball team as they played against Penn State.
