Decatur Christian School is dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures academic excellence and strong Christian character. We are seeking a passionate and qualified English teacher to join our team and inspire students in grades 7–12.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that promote critical thinking, writing skills, and a love for literature.
- Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Commitment to Christian values and the mission of Decatur Christian School.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
